Rolex is an independant Watch brand wich name is famous all over the world.
Its history began in 1908 when Hans Wilsdorf registered the name Rolex in The Suisse, at La Chaux-de-Fonds.
From the beginning Rolex is a succesfull watch brand known for its reliability.
In 1926 Wilsdorf presents a special cupboard for his watches. Thanks to special contruction, the screwed case back and crown, water and dust were really kept outside the watch.
Wilsdorf calls this watchcase the Oyster, and its till to day an conception in the world of watches.
