There is a big difference between a quartz watch and a watch with a mechanical movement. In both cases it is wise to your watch inspected annually.
With a quartz movement can best battery replaced every 3 years and the watch cleaned. A mechanical watch is rinsed and cleaned by our professionals. Possibly there must be parts of the timepiece replaced.
Other maintenance tips:
– Do not expose your watch to extreme heat or cold and is advised to not go into the water with a leather strap.
– Wear a watch with a leather strap not every day. The band is then allowed to dry, so it takes less unpleasant odors.
– Wind an automatic watch (a watch that winds itself) himself once after a few weeks. This keeps the oil in the timepiece liquid which extend the lifetime.
-Wear your watch is not too tight or too loose. This allows your watchband faster wear.
